Goal 7: The library's human resources support the Strategic Plan

7.3: By 6/30/09, the library's recruitment processes will result in diverse, bilingual staff who fulfill the objectives of the Strategic Plan.

What are some strategies we have for this?

•  All job descriptions will be reviewed and revised as appropriate.
• The 2002 Employee Handbook will be revised and updated.
• Maximize the use of Durham County tuition assistance funds among library staff and develop private sources of funding additional educational assistance.
