What are some strategies we have for this?
A. Focus on basic materials for ‘life transitions’—health, wealth, academic, personal
B. Conduct surveys both online and in person
C. Evaluate collection use statistics in order (a) to reallocate the materials budget into appropriate overall categories such as audiovisual, electronic, print, serial, etc. and (b) to select materials within categories that best meet customers’ information needs.
D. Consider offering technology requested by patrons
a. Scanners
b. Fax machines
